『 PROFILE 』
Name: Kade Jocaesyn
Nickname/alias: Keegan the Fire God
PB: Goujun from Saiyuki Gaiden
Age: 248
Apparent age: 31
Place of birth: Arcadia
Place of residence: Arcadia
Gender: Male
Height: 5’11”
Eyes: Since he’s blind, his eyes are clouded white.
Hair: Dark brown, bangs, long thick braid down his back
Species: Walker
Race: Armithian
Class/occupation: (ex-)Aristocrat/Wanderer
Family: Qiase Jocaesyn (mother); Neraon Rimear (father); Firure (brother).
Religion: Ruanism (though he doesn’t follow it AS IF HE WERE TO DIE! /Reborn! reference)
Education: Enrolled into the Youth Institute and stayed for 18 years before dropping out and becoming a Wanderer. The rest of what he knows is through life experience, reading and his own sense of curiosity.
Abilities: He can manipulate fire, pulling the energy from his soul and condensing it into whatever shape or size he wishes. Also, because of his Armithian qualities, Kade can sense presences and ‘see’ in his minds-eye the world around him in rough detail. This ability comes in handy when he wants to locate a person in a large building or limited area, as he can discern between their individual signatures (an imprint a person leaves in his mind so he’s able to recognize them later) and find them.
Strengths: Hand-to-hand combat, has good reflexes. Despite how he relates to people, he is actually very good at reading people and understanding their feelings – whether he feels like being courteous and responding in an appropriate way is a different matter.
Weaknesses: His anti-social behavior stops those wanting to get close to him. Kade usually doesn’t care when they give up
Habits: Shapes fire in the palm of his hand when he’s feeling stressed, emotionally drained, or wants to meditate.
Hobbies: Visiting old places, creating huge fires for the hell of it
Likes: Fire, Arcadia, the sun, old buildings, ruins, music
Dislikes:Staying in one place for too long, noise, people who don’t know when to be silent

History: Born into an aristocratic family in Arcadia, Kade had an fairly easy life as a young child – if he was around those who ignored his blind, silver eyes, a unique trait belonging to all of Armithian descent. His father was a Malakite, Viscount in the Aristocratic ladder of authority, and he had married an Armithian woman half out of love and the other half out of reverence for her kind. She accepted his love and returned it, occasionally feeling uncomfortable with the pedestal he placed her on, though was flattered with the attention and material items he showered her with everyday.
After growing old enough, his father enrolled him into the Youth Institute, wanting his son to outshine the families that were making life difficult with their contempt. Kade worked hard at first, wanting to feel the reactions and praise of his high marks, but after a while, he began feeling bored and tired of the stiff teachings of his professors. He wanted to go and feel the energies of these historical places he’d been taught about for himself! Enough of this rotting in classrooms while more of Amarantha faded away into nothing but words in a textbook.
Kade dropped out after 18 years of learning and surprised everyone. His father was ashamed of him. Kade felt no remorse or guilt, and simply sneered while his father rambled on and on about how this would ruin his reputation while his mother looked on with an expression of apathy.
He was and still is close to his brother, and keeps in touch with him. Firure is one of the few, along with their mother, that Kade can speak to for longer than a few minutes. He enjoys their company and insight, seeking their presence whenever he’s in Arcadia. Their mother was glad Kade and his younger brother by 25 years were holding to their opinions and not content to follow the teachings and thoughts of others. They, as their mother put it, could have turned out to be miniatures of their father, and that she would not have. One Neraon in the world was enough.
For the past decade, Kade has been living from whatever he can get, from finding small jobs to information gathering to entering in fighting rings (he’s gained a few enemies in the Underground because of this). He doesn’t care how he earns money or food as long as he does – short from thieving from a small child and/or someone poorer than him, of course. He does have some morals, after all. Lastly, Kade is aware of the fact that he is stronger in elemental power than most Walkers, and contemplates the meaning of it. He knows of The Nine and what each stands for, though he cannot even begin to imagine himself in that type of position.
Personality: Kade is usually calm and collected; gazing out into the world with clear eyes, though feeling no true attachment to it. He’s kind to strangers and people who ask him for help, though will turn a blind eye (no pun intended) if someone is receiving a beating and/or being murdered (he doesn’t care enough to get involved as he prefers to stay under the radar). He dislikes talking to people as he feels words are wasted on the majority of the population, and that action is more effective in getting your point across – depending on the situation. It annoys him when people get in his way and try to stop him from doing something, and will usually attempt to eradicate this thing that is stopping him from doing what he wants or needs to do.
Appearance: The clothes he wears are usually light colored (pale blues and grayscale colors are his favorites; matches his eyes), and of fairly good make. If there were one thing Kade would not do, it’d be wearing tattered rags for clothing. He would sooner rob a store.
His eyes and his braid are perhaps the most unique features of his appearance. The braid falls past the small of his back, and his eyes are the most interesting shades of silver and white. He’s tall, depending on who you are, with a deceptively slim build. He makes a habit of carrying some sort of weapon with him at all times, sometimes several. This ranges from small knives to full-length swords – he keeps the majority of these with his younger brother in their family home, and hides the remaining in the folds of his clothes.
